Winter Favorites

These are just some of my essential items for winter time, hope you enjoy!

These lotions (above) have been great for dry hands.  Where I live, the winter is very cold and dry so it is important to constantly moisturize your hands.  These two have worked great.  The Suave advanced therapy leaves you hands really soft, not greasy, and smelling nice.  The Vaseline healthy hands and nails is great, especially if you feel your nails are a bit on the brittle side.  You can really notice improvement within 2 or 3 days.  The big bottle of Nivea express hydration is good as a body lotion.  It moisturizes well without feeling greasy.  The great thing about all of these products is that they are relatively inexpensive.

BB Cream is also great for the dryer months.  I usually have dry skin anyway so I do use it year round.  It is great for light to medium coverage and moisturizing skin.  It also has SPF 30 in it which adds some protection to you skin (you can still get a sun burn in winter!)

Let it Snow was a fantastic book! I got it as a Christmas gift and it was a great read.  It includes 3 separate stories written by 3 wonderful authors, and their stories overlap.  This is the perfect book to cozy up with and have some hot chocolate.  For all you nerdfighters out there who else is excited for the TFIOS movie to come out?! The trailer was amazing!

Be Enchanted is definitely one of my favorite scents from Bath and Body Works.  I have the mini one because it was on sale.  I like this scent because it is girly without being overwhelming.

I hope you liked my winter favorites!

Bright Nail Color for Winter!

Hi everyone! I was in the mood to paint my nails today, but I was tired of all the dark colors usually worn during the winter.  I figured why not go for a fun bright color! Don't get me wrong I do love winter.  Cozying up with a book and a nice mug of hot chocolate is wonderful. However, I am not a huge fan of wearing darker colors all the time.  Bright colors cheer me up, especially on my nails.  During the day when I look down at them I like to think "oooh that's a happy color!"  That might sound weird but it really can help brighten up your day.

The color I am wearing on my nails today is Revlon Brilliant strength in the color Dazzle, which is number 010.

I am loving this color at the moment.  It is a more subtle pink, but it does have a bit of glitter and sparkle in it. Or should I say dazzle lol.  It was not as sheer as I was expecting it to be.  I achieved the color of my nails below with only two coats.  I find most of the time with sparkly nail polishes that they are sheer and need many coats to reach the desired affect, or have as color go underneath them.  This one is great on its own.  This is a fabulous nail polish and I highly recommend it!
